Dr. Bijoy Menon
Associate Professor
Department of Neurology and Neurosciences
Bijoy Menon is transforming our understanding of strokes, with hopes that his work will lead to tailored treatments that can reverse the effects of stroke or even prevent them. His work has garnered him the Heart & Stroke Foundation professorship in stroke imaging.
His current research interests are in developing easy to use imaging tools that aid in understanding acute ischemic stroke pathophysiology and help in patient selection. I am also passionate about understanding leptomeningeal collateral physiology, processes around hyperacute stroke treatment, biostatistics and clinical trials methodology.
