Loeys-Dietz syndrome is an autosomal dominant connective tissue disorder that has many similar features to Marfan syndrome causing toruosity of vessels of the neck, in this case both vertebral arteries and the internal carotid arteries.

The classical triad includes:
1: Arterial tortuosity and aneurysms
2. Hypertelorism
3. Bifid uvula or cleft palate
